The New England Patriots signed Stefon Diggs in the offseason to be a true No. 1 WR for Drake Maye, and so far, he's mostly delivered on that hope.

The Pats certainly don't have anything to complain about. They're 11-3 on the season, leading the AFC East.

Diggs is also moving toward a contract bonus, one that he should get pretty comfortably with still three weeks to play.

The veteran wideout has a clause in his contract that he gets paid $500,000 if he catches 70 passes in a season.

So far, Diggs has 67 catches.

The Patriots take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football. In a game that's big for both sides of the playoff race, it's fair to expect Diggs to see more than enough action to get to 70 catches and beyond just on this night, with time to spare in the season.

On Diggs' 67 grabs this season, he has 731 yards and three touchdowns.

It wasn't a given that he'd recover well enough from his torn ACL (last year in his eighth game with the Texans) to make immediate contributions for the Pats.

But Diggs has been out there since the start of the season, and he's put together a few classic Diggs performances, including in the Patriots' win over the Bills earlier this season.

For the Pats to make a run the rest of the way, they'll need Diggs to be at his best. Diggs will gladly keep catching passes, both to win games and to make a little extra change.
