Stefon Diggs signed a big contract this season to join the New England Patriots and be the top receiver for Drake Maye.
It's worked out well for all involved, and Diggs now has a chance to make $1 million extra this weekend when the Patriots take on the Jets.
Diggs has two separate contract incentives that would earn him $500,000 apiece if he reaches them:
- $500,000 for 80 catches in 2025
- $500,000 for 1,000 receiving yards in 2025
Diggs enters Week 17 with 76 catches and 869 yards.
That puts him four grabs away from the first bonus.
He's got 131 yards to go for the second bonus.

The Patriots have two regular season games left, counting this weekend against the Jets' porous pass defense.
The 32-year old Diggs is coming off a big game in a comeback win over the Ravens. He caught 9-of-10 targets for 138 yards.
That followed three consecutive weeks with fewer than 30 yards, so Diggs is a bit hit or miss just based on New England's gameplan.
If Diggs plays his cards right, he can reach both of these marks by the final game of the regular season and add a little extra change to his wallet.
