Patriots' star Stefon Diggs casually reveals injury image

While speaking to the media on Wednesday, New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs revealed that he has been playing through a broken finger.

Diggs revealed this while praising the touch that quarterback Drake Maye has on passes.

"I broke my finger like a couple weeks ago," Diggs said, per Mass News' Chris Mason, on X. "So I was just telling (Drake Maye), 'Hey, I love the way you throw the ball.' I really appreciate it. Just because he has that touch."

When asked to elaborate on the finger injury, Diggs said (per Mason), "Something like that... Don't worry about it. Least of my worries."

Diggs caught three passes for 14 yards in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns, three passes for 38 yards in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons and five passes for 46 yards in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While those may be relatively modest yardage totals, he caught a touchdown pass in all three games. The touchdown streak came to an end in Week 11 against the New York Jets, but Diggs caught nine passes for 105 yards in that game. Most importantly, the Patriots won every game in question.

We don't know exactly when the injury took place. But judging by his recent outings, it's safe to say that the injury hasn't stunted Diggs' production too much.
