The New England Patriots currently sit atop the AFC East, and can extend that lead with a win on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. It will be an especially important game for head coach Mike Vrabel, as he will be facing the team that fired him after the 2023 season.

On top of their Week 7 matchup with the Titans, New England may have their eyes on the trade market to get Drake Maye a top notch receiver. Vinnie Iyer believes New England would be a great landing spot for Jakobi Meyers.

"Meyers has been a reliable target for Josh McDaniels in both New England and Las Vegas," Iyer writes. "He could replicate what Kendrick Bourne did for the 49ers before his time with the Patriots. Kayshon Boutte, Demario Douglas, and Stefon Diggs have all developed chemistry with Drake Maye, but adding a true big slot receiver who already knows the offense well would be a major boost for the second-year quarterback."

For Meyers, it would be somewhat of a homecoming should he be traded to the Patriots. He signed with New England in 2019 as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina State. Meyers is coming off a career year with the Raiders, catching 87 passes for over 1,000 yards.
