Drake Maye called his own number.
The New England Patriots' QB debated telling his teammates, but in the end, he didn't.
Yep, that's right, on the game-clinching naked bootleg that Maye ran to secure victory in the AFC Championship Game over the Denver Broncos to go to the Super Bowl -- that wasn't the play call.
Maye did it all by himself.
"After the game, Drake's like, 'I debated telling you guys if I was gonna (keep) it or not," lineman Garrett Bradbury told the Boston Herald. "'But I just decided not to.'"

What an awesome moment from the second-year QB.
"I hit my block, and all the defenders started running the other way," Bradbury said. "I'm like, 'What? Oh my God.'"

Maye ran 10 times for 65 yards in the win, but none of the yardage was bigger than this.
This ensured the Patriots could kneel out the clock on a 10-7 win and not have to give the ball back to Denver.
It was an ugly, snowy win, but this moment was art.
It would've been a brilliant playcall from Josh McDaniels, but that's not even what it was.
Instead, it was Maye seizing the moment in the most pristine way, and the Patriots are going back to the Super Bowl.
