The NFL’s fans in London have had multiple chances to see Minnesota Vikings football in recent seasons.
In 2025, they’ll (hopefully) get their first glimpse of first-year starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy. And maybe even the universally known Shedeur Sanders?
Per an NFL schedule leak, the Vikings will play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the second consecutive season, and for the fourth time in 15 years in the UK, in Week 5 of the 2025 regular season against the Cleveland Browns. The game will reportedly be played on the morning of Oct. 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Vikings played Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur last season, so they could have a slight advantage in regards to travel, the practice schedule and familiarity with the crowd noise and turf at the stadium.
Another potential advantage? The Browns were on Minnesota’s list of known road opponents for 2025, so the Vikings should have eight true home games at U.S. Bank Stadium if this report holds true:

The Vikings had some fun in London in 2024, highlighted by Andrew Van Ginkel’s 63-yard pick-six off Rodgers. They won the game 23-17 and flew back to the states with a 5-0 record.

This year, they’ll reportedly look to make two winning trips in a row against a rebuilding Browns team with an unsettled quarterback situation. With starter Deshaun Watson rehabbing a twice-torn Achilles tendon, Cleveland traded for Kenny Pickett, signed Joe Flacco and drafted both Dillon Gabriel (third round) and Sanders (fifth round).
The Browns have made no formal announcements on who the starter will be, but Sanders flashed potential first-round talent at Colorado. He faces an uphill battle to take real NFL snaps this season, especially by Week 5, but crazier things have happened, and you can't rule anything out when it comes to the Cleveland Browns.
