Is Jordan Addison playing today? Why Vikings WR is off to quiet start in Week 4 image

The Minnesota Vikings didn't have the services of wide receiver Jordan Addison over the first three weeks of the 2025 season.

That's because Addison was suspended for three games by the league for violating the NFL's substances of abuse policy.

However, Addison was reinstated by the league in Week 4 and was activated to the  53-man roster by the Vikings, which put him on track to suit up on Sunday.

Here's a look at why Addison is off to a quiet start in the Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Is Jordan Addison playing today?

UPDATE: Addison is now on the board.

He caught a 22-yard pass from Wentz on the final play of the first quarter.

END OF UPDATE

Addison is active, healthy and in the lineup and was on the field for the team's first offensive series of the contest.

Unfortunately, despite a 10-play, 51-yard drive, Addison was not targeted at all and instead we saw Justin Jefferson get a whopping four targets and Jordan Mason accounted for the other one.

We're not exactly sure how much Addison and Carson Wentz worked together in practice over the past few months, but if it wasn't a lot, it could take time for the pair to develop chemistry.
