The Miami Dolphins made a major decision ahead of Week 16, as they benched starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa after the Dolphins QB struggled in the team's Week 15 Monday Night Football matchup.
In response, wide receiver Tyreek Hill took to Twitter/X to express his disagreement. He alluded to his departure from the Dolphins in one post and, in another, called out a former Dolphins lineman.
Hill posted again shortly after he teased he's leaving the Dolphins, calling out former Dolphins offensive tackle Terron Armstead, seeming to partially blame him for Tagovailoa's benching.
Tyreek Hill calls out ex-Dolphins OT Terron Armstead after Tua Tagovailoa's benching
Hill called out Armstead by posting: "T stead fault he wanted to be a podcaster."
While Hill isn't directly blaming Armstead's retirement and departure from the Dolphins as the reason why Tagovailoa struggled this season and was eventually benched, it does seem to be the point he's trying to make.
His posts after the Tagovailoa benching indicate he's not a fan of the move, and by calling out Armstead right after the benching, there's a correlation between the two.

Tagovailoa's benching makes sense for the Dolphins, as they don't have anything to play for in the final three weeks of the season, and seeing what rookie Quinn Ewers has to offer is a worthwhile investment into the future of the franchise.
But Hill isn't on board with the decision and is voicing his displeasure with the move on social media. And he's calling out Armstead in the same stroke, seemingly blaming him for the Dolphins' benching of Tagovailoa.
Armstead retired this past offseason and is now hosting a podcast called The Dive Bar.
With the offensive line's struggles this season, the Dolphins could've used Armstead.
