The Miami Dolphins have added to their stable of 2026 NFL draft picks following a Monday morning trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are sending the Dolphins a 2026 third-round pick in exchange for edge rusher Jaelan Phillips.

The Eagles had a pair of third-round picks in 2026, their own and the New York Jets'. Schefter notes that the Dolphins are getting the Eagles' original pick in the deal and not the Jets'.

Rumors had been swirling that Phillips was the most likely to be dealt out of the three available Dolphins edge rushers, a list that also includes Bradley Chubb and Matt Judon, so this deal wasn't surprising.

Now, here's an updated look at the draft picks the Dolphins are working with next year. Miami is not slated to receive any compensatory picks, per Over The Cap.

Miami Dolphins 2026 NFL draft picks

Of course, this list is subject to change considering the Dolphins could make more moves before the 4 p.m. ET deadline on Tuesday.

  • Round 1
  • Round 2
  • Round 3
  • Round 3 (via Texans)
  • Round 3 (via Eagles)
  • Round 4
  • Round 5
  • Round 7

As you can see, the Dolphins are in good shape in terms of 2026 draft capital, with the team sporting three picks in Round 3, and four in total on Day 2.

Miami acquired the third-round pick from the Texans in a draft-day trade in 2025. The lack of a sixth-round pick is a result of the Darren Waller trade with the New York Giants.

While rumors suggest the Dolphins aren't going to be holding a fire sale, we would expect the 2-7 team to make at least one more move before the deadline.
