The Miami Dolphins have a lot of work ahead of them this offseason, with no bigger decision than what they do at quarterback.

Tua Tagovailoa likely isn't playing for the Dolphins again, but the way Miami moves on from him will be very fascinating to see. Beyond what they do with Tagovailoa, the Dolphins will also need to find a new QB for 2026 and beyond.

ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques reported that new Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has a plan. This new plan is an exciting one, which could feature multiple drafted quarterbacks in the upcoming NFL Drafts.

Dolphins GM plans to draft QBs every year

"We're going to invest in that position every year if we can," Sullivan said. "We will draft quarterbacks every year, if not every other year... We'll be very active in adding quarterbacks to make that room as deep as possible."

Seeing how the Dolphins address their quarterback position in the coming offseason will be very fascinating. Tagovailoa's future is in doubt, while the options in the draft and free agency aren't the best.

Malik Willis would make a lot of sense as a free-agent addition, but a highly drafted quarterback might not be a bad idea either.

Sullivan is planning to continue taking chances at quarterbacks over the next few drafts to find his new franchise guy. Even if that means drafting a new QB every year, it might be what the Dolphins do.

Brock Purdy, Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, and Tyler Shough, just last year, have proven that finding a quarterback outside of the first round is possible.

It's not easy, but the Dolphins are seemingly ready to make such a plan a reality. The quarterback is the most important position on the team, so why not take as many chances at finding the franchise guy as possible?

It's a fascinating strategy, and hopefully for the Dolphins, it works out. There is the risk of wasted capital every offseason, but finding the right QB is more important than anything else, and would be worth the extra investment to make sure the Dolphins get it right.

Dolphins fans are in for a treat this offseason and into the future under Sullivan's leadership. A lot of moves could be coming at the quarterback position both this offseason and into the future.
