Dolphins assistant coach arrested on domestic battery charge: What to know about the case image

Dolphins outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow was arrested on Friday, August 22 by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. He was accused of domestic battery.

Crow has since been placed on administrative leave by the Dolphins. Miami has stated that they are staying in communication with the league about the proceedings, but that they would not give any more updates as of August 29.

Crow had been with Miami as the team's outside linebackers coach since 2024. Before joining the Dolphins coaching staff, he had been with the Titans for six years. He started out as a defensive assistant, but then settled in as an outside linebackers coach.

Here is more on Crow and the Dolphins coaching staff.

Who is Ryan Crow?

Details about Crow are scarce and hard to come by. He is 37 years old, but his bio on the team website simply says "joined the Miami Dolphins as outside linebackers coach in 2024." There isn't additional info about where he went to college or his history in football. It was reported in January that Crow had interviewed for both the Cowboys' and Patriots' defensive coordinator jobs.
