The Los Angeles Rams have a major question mark at the wide receiver position in Week 17 with Davante Adams.

Adams aggravated his hamstring injury in Week 15 that forced his early exit from the contest and led to him sitting out in Week 16. Adams did not practice at all before drawing the doubtful tag.

As we turn the page to Week 17, when the Rams will take on the Atlanta Falcons, here's what we know about Adams' chances of returning to the field.

Will Davante Adams return in Week 17?

We don't have an answer to this question yet, but based on what we know, we'd say his chances of returning are about 50/50.

On Monday, Rams head coach Sean McVay noted that Adams is making progress in his rehab but would not say whether or not the veteran wideout would play in Week 17.

One positive Adams has going for him is he gets an extra day to recover, as the Rams play on Monday night.

However, Los Angeles also has to weigh risking it with Adams if he isn't 100%, as the most important thing is having him available for the playoffs.

Another reason the Rams might sit Adams is the fact that they don't really need him to beat the lowly Falcons, who have nothing to play for in Week 17.

It's very possible the Rams will take it slow with Adams, especially considering this isn't the first hamstring issue he has dealt with this season.

We'll get our next update on Adams on Thursday, when the Rams release their first injury report of the week. If Adams can log a limited practice, that will be a good indication he at least has a chance to play.
