The Los Angeles Rams have gotten exceptional play out of kicker Harrison Mevis in 2025.
Mevis, who came back to the NFL after spending a season in the UFL with the Birmingham Stallions, has knocked through 12 of 13 field goals this year and hasn't missed an extra point.
Mevis is quickly establishing himself as Los Angeles' long-term kicker, and he also has an awesome nickname, the 'thiccer kicker.'
Why is Harrison Mevis nicknamed thiccer kicker?
Mevis was given the nickname by his college teammate, punter Grant McKinniss, during his time at Mizzou.
Due to his larger frame for a kicker at 6-foot and nearly 250 pounds, the nickname fits Mevis perfectly.
