The Los Angeles Rams have made several upgrades this offseason. The most notable move they made was signing future Hall of Fame wide receiver Davante Adams after informing Cooper Kupp they would be moving on from him. One aspect the Rams do still need to improve on is the defensive side of the ball, specifically the secondary.
Darious Williams and Ahkello Witherspoon are set to be the Rams' starting outside cornerbacks, with Quentin Lake in the slot. Los Angeles ranked No. 20 in passing yards allowed per game, and they could really use an upgrade on the back end, and they could snag one on the open market.
The Green Bay Packers shockingly released cornerback Jaire Alexander. The two-time Second-Team All-Pro has only played in 14 games over the last two seasons due to injuries, and the Packers let him go. On a short-term deal for cheap money, this is a no-brainer move for the Rams. While it could end up being similar to the Tre'Davious White situation, it could also pan out with Alexander having a great year.
