The Los Angeles Rams receiving room is utterly obsessed with Lakers’ LeBron James image

One of the most fun things to see in sports is when players from different teams in the same city support each other. 

Cam Skattebo showing up courtside to a New York Knicks game, or Tyrese Haliburton showing up in an on-field box at an Indianapolis Colts game. It breeds this fun, inter-city camaraderie. 

Within Los Angeles, there is no shortage of successful franchises to root for.

The Los Angeles Lakers, Rams and Dodgers have all won championships in the last 5 years. Most recently, it was the Dodgers winning it all. They of course made their rounds, even showing up and showing off their World Series trophy at center court of a Lakers game. 

As of late, certain members of the Rams have taken that intercity love to a new level. Two members of the Rams' receiving room specifically have developed quite the affinity for a certain Lakers star. 

Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are obsessed with LeBron James

In an interview with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth on their podcast, Davante Adams shared an experience he had involving the Lakers star. 

"Like one of those movies where the pretty girl walks in and the music cuts off and everything goes slow."

Interesting.

Many have compared seeing Michael Jordan walking into a building as if he was "floating" or it seemed like he was "levitating", but I'm not sure anyone ever compared MJ to a pretty girl in a movie.

A funny way to describe it, for sure, but it makes sense. Now, for Puka Nacua, who has in no way ever been shy about his love for LeBron James. 

Where to begin with Nacua? From watching LeBron James highlights before his own games to being genuinely conflicted when asked whether he would rather hang out with James for a week or win a Super Bowl. 

The fantasy football app Sleeper even replaced Nacua's player profile picture with a picture of LeBron James in a Rams jersey. The love for James is very real with Nacua. 

The love affair between the Rams receivers and LeBron James will always be entertaining. Now to get Tutu Atwell in on the fun.
