The Los Angeles Rams beat the Carolina Panthers in a thrilling game to open the NFL playoffs, and while it was closer than the Rams would've hoped for, it was still a good win.
But, during the win, Matthew Stafford injured his hand, and specifically, a finger on his throwing hand. There was ample concern for his availability in the Divisional round.
However, Underdog NFL shared that, according to Sean McVay, Stafford suffered just a sprained finger and is "good to go" for the Chicago Bears matchup.

An injury to a quarterback's throwing hand is always going to be a scary one, especially for an MVP candidate in the middle of the playoffs.
But this update from McVay is a sigh of relief for fans, as Stafford, the future Hall of Famer, is good to go and won't be hampered by his sprained index finger.

The Rams and Stafford avoided disaster, as the quarterback nearly suffered a bad injury to his throwing hand.
But Stafford is set to play against the Bears in Chicago for a chance to go to the NFC Championship game.
McVay and Stafford against Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson will be one of the more fun matchups of the playoffs, and it nearly didn't happen if this injury was worse.
