The Los Angeles Rams struck gold in the 2024 NFL Draft when they drafted Florida State edge rusher Jared Verse, who turned out instant production. The former Seminole had 4.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and two forced fumbles. His efforts earned him Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, and has also put him in the discussions of the best edge rushers in the NFL.
PFF ranked their top 10 edge rushers in the league, and Verse was ranked eighth. The full list is as follows:
1. Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns
2. Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys
3. T.J. Watt, Pittsburgh Steelers
4. Nick Bosa, San Francisco 49ers
5. Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions
6. Maxx Crosby, Las Vegas Raiders
7. Trey Hendrickson, Cincinnati Bengals
8. Jared Verse, Los Angeles Rams
9. Will Anderson, Houston Texans
10. Khalil Mack, Los Angeles Chargers
It's evident that Verse is already a star, and the Rams continue to quietly be one of the NFL's top-drafting teams.
