Is Kyren Williams playing tonight? Why Rams RB is off to slow start in Week 12 image

Kyren Williams has been the Los Angeles Rams lead running back for a few years now.

That is the case once again this season, although it has become obvious that the Rams are trying to involve Blake Corum more in 2025 as they try to keep Williams fresh over the course of a season.

However, that has led to some strange usage between the two backs this season and it has been to the detriment of Williams.

We're seeing that again on Sunday night.

Is Kyren Williams playing tonight?

UPDATE: We're through an entire half of football and Williams only has two carries and that's one less than Corum, which is mind-boggling.

The Rams went pass-heavy in the first half, so that certainly didn't help Williams' cause.

In what is more bad news, if the Rams keep blowing the Bucs out, Corum might get the vast majority of the run in the second half as the Rams look to rest their starters.

Hopefully the Bucs can keep it close in the second half or else Williams may not see much work.

END OF UPDATE

Yes, Williams is active and in the lineup, but through a few drives he only has one carry and one catch. Meanwhile, Corum has actually gotten three carries.

It's a frustrating situation right now, but it's not something we aren't used to. Hopefully Williams will see more work moving forward.
