The Los Angeles Rams need more out of their backup wide receivers in Week 16 due to the injury to Davante Adams.
We know Puka Nacua is going to step up, but the question is: who else is going to make an impact in the Rams' wide receivers room?
Los Angeles was hoping that would be Jordan Whittington and/or Tutu Atwell, but neither player is doing much early on in Week 16. Here's why.
Is Jordan Whittington playing tonight?
UPDATE: Whittington is on the board with his first catch on the Rams' third drive.
Yes, Whittington is active and healthy, he just wasn't targeted on the opening series.
The Rams went very run-heavy on the opening series and only threw two passes, so there wasn't much of an opportunity to get going.
Is Tutu Atwell playing tonight?
Yes, Atwell is also active and healthy, but he just hasn't gotten involved in the passing game yet.
Los Angeles leaned heavily on the run on the opening series, so Atwell's slow start comes as no surprise.
