The Los Angeles Rams will square off against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night and running backs Blake Corum and Kyren Williams and tight end Colby Parkinson will all be in action.
Parkinson has put himself on the starting radar over the last six weeks after scoring six touchdowns and tallying three games of 41 yards or more in that span.
Corum began the season playing a clear second fiddle to Williams, but the second-year back has garnered more work in the second half of the season and has scored four touchdowns in the last three games while also tallying 71 yards or more.
Despite Corum's increased role, Williams has remained productive and enters Week 16 as a top-ten running back in fantasy.
Ahead of what is a crucial game for the Rams and Seahawks on Thursday night, here's some start or sit advice for Parkinson, Williams and Corum.
Kyren Williams start or sit advice
Williams enters the contest against the Seahawks ranked as RB9 overall, which makes him an every-week starter, regardless of matchup.
But temper expectations this week, as the Seahawks are ceding the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs.
One positive for Williams is he's still getting strong volume, even with Corum now in the mix.
But there's reason to believe he could take on even more against Seattle, because the weather forecast is calling for high winds that could negatively impact the passing attacks, forcing Los Angeles to lean more on the run.
Verdict: Start
Blake Corum start or sit advice
Corum has been on a heater of late, tallying 30 carries for 280 yards and four touchdowns over the last three games. In that span, he ranks as RB8 overall.
As we said with Williams, this is a bad matchup, but the wind might force the Rams to utilize their two backs more, which means a good chance for significant volume for Corum.
It's always risky starting two running backs from the same team, especially in this kind of matchup, but Corum has just been too good lately not to consider him a starting option in Week 16.
Verdict: Start
Colby Parkinson start or sit advice
Since he became a touchdown machine in Week 10, Parkinson ranks as TE4 overall in that span, which has unexpectedly made him a weekly starting option at tight end.
This is a plus matchup for Parkinson, who faces a Seahawks defense giving up the 10th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season.
Another positive for Parkinson is that wide receiver Davante Adams might not play. Not only could that lead to more targets for Parkinson, but he may also see more red-zone opportunities with the Rams' best weapon in that area being absent.
The wind impacting the passing attack is a big concern, but Parkinson will likely be operating in the short-to-intermediate passing game, so that shouldn't impact him too much.
And, if Parkinson has gotten you this far, you need to keep rolling with him.
