The Los Angeles Rams' win over the Detroit Lions was superb, but it came at a cost.
Star receiver Davante Adams suffered a hamstring injury in the win, and he was under close watch all week at practice.
Given that hamstring injuries are rarely just a one-week injury, there was a thought that even if Adams could go tonight against the Seattle Seahawks, the Rams might play it safe with their star weapon.
And as the Rams dropped their inactives list for Thursday Night Football, to no one's surprise, Adams' name was on there.
He is officially out for the game, as Matthew Stafford loses his leading touchdown receiver, as Adams has 14, with the next best being Puka Nacua with six.

Rams fighting for division without Adams
With the Rams and Seahawks both at 11-3, this is a monster game for both, and it has division and playoff implications.
For Los Angeles, being without Adams is a big blow, but the offense has so many weapons that Sean McVay should be able to cook up something to alleviate the loss.
Adams had just one catch for one yard and a touchdown from his eight targets last time the Rams faced Seattle in the 21-19 win.
Now, with everything on the line, the Rams are going to have to go on the road and slay their division rivals without a top weapon.
