The Los Angeles Rams are hoping to have wide receiver Davante Adams for the Week 11 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Adams suffered an oblique injury in the Week 10 win over the San Francisco 49ers that forced his early exit. The good news early on was that head coach Sean McVay said Adams could've returned to the game if needed.
This week, Adams didn't practice on Wednesday before logging a pair of limited sessions on Thursday and Friday before drawing a questionable tag for Sunday.
Here's the latest update on Adams' status for Week 11 against Seattle.
Is Davante Adams playing today?
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Adams is expected to play on Sunday.
"Rams WR Davante Adams, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an oblique injury, is expected to play vs. The Seahawks, per source," Schefter reported.
Schefter's report tracks with what McVay said during the week.
"He's making good progress," McVay said. "That's what he tells me (that he expects to play). He's feeling good, and so I trust the man. He'll be ready."
Davante Adams fantasy advice
Adams enters Week 11 with the seventh-most fantasy points among wide receivers this season, making him an every-week starter.
Things might be tougher than normal in Week 11, though, as the Seahawks are surrendering the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts.
That said, we're still definitely starting Adams, but expectations should be tempered.
