Omarion Hampton playing tonight after injury means confusion for Chargers RB Kimani Vidal image

The Los Angeles Chargers' backfield was supposed to be a strength this season.

But then Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton got hurt. That pushed Kimani Vidal into full-time duty, and he has maintained a solid RB presence for the Chargers, despite it not looking anything like they expected.

There's good news in Week 14, though: Omarion Hampton was back on the practice field on his way to making it back into the lineup.

The Chargers have a big one on Monday night: A matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles that is big for the playoff situation in both conferences.

A Hampton return would be a big boost for L.A.

Is Omarion Hampton playing tonight?

Yes, Omarion Hampton is expected to play tonight.

He's officially listed as questionable, but it's been affirmed in press conferences and reports out of L.A. That Hampton is good to go.

No one quite knows what the breakdown will look like between Hampton and Vidal, though.

That's likely something stressing about fantasy football managers, but at this point, you've probably run out of other options. It seems like it'll be a pretty even split in Hampton's first week back, as the Chargers wouldn't want to push him too hard, too soon.

The Eagles were just run all over by the Chicago Bears, so that's likely a part of the game the Chargers will be trying to take advantage of.

It might be a fun night for Hampton, Vidal and all of the Chargers.
