Though nine games this season, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey is the team's leading receiver.
Entering Week 10, McConkey has tallied 524 yards, which is four more than fellow wide receiver Keenan Allen, who is in his first season back with the Chargers.
If we didn't know any better, we'd say McConkey wasn't the team's leading receiver based on his lack of production early on in the Week 10 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Here's why McConkey has been quiet.
Is Ladd McConkey playing tonight?
UPDATE: McConkey is on the board with his first catch on the Chargers' fourth series. The reception went for 16 yards.
UPDATE: McConkey got his first target on Los Angeles' second drive, but the pass was just a bit over his head. It also looked like he might have been interfered with, but no flag was thrown.
Yes, McConkey is active, healthy and in the lineup, he just wasn't targeted over the team's first series.
There wasn't much of an opportunity, though, as the Chargers went three-and-out before punting the ball away to Pittsburgh.
We'll see if McConkey can get on the stat sheet in drive No. 2.
