The Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Chargers all need offensive line help.
In Detroit, left tackle Taylor Decker has been in and out of the lineup all season due to injury and he suffered a knee issue in Week 9. Also suffering an injury in the game was guard Christian Mahogany, who is expected to miss significant time.
The Seahawks could use depth all over, although guard Anthony Bradford has been a sore spot in particular. The Chargers lost left tackle Rashawn Slater for the season and right-tackle-turned-left-tackle Joe Alt is injured yet again and could miss more time.
Luckily for all three teams, it appears the Washington Commanders will make a pair of offensive linemen available at the trade deadline in veterans Andrew Wylie and Nick Allegretti, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
"Sources: The Commanders have been open to trading several players, including OL Andrew Wylie and OL Nick Allegretti, both of whom bring extensive starting and playoff experience," Schultz reported.
The Commanders' season is over following the brutal injury to Jayden Daniels, so they should be looking to sell off some pieces at the trade deadline, especially with the team having just two picks in the first three rounds in 2026.
Allegretti, who plays guard, has been a backup for the vast majority of his career, but he does offer some starting experience, also. Allegretti has struggled in pass protection this season (39.1 Pro Football Focus grade), but he does sport a solid 63.8 run-blocking mark.
Wylie is the more attractive option of the two. He has started in 92 games in his career and has experience playing at both guard and tackle.
Wylie has struggled with run-blocking this season (47.5 PFF grade) but he has historically played better than that. His pass-blocking is solid, though, as he's surrendered just one sack and six pressures while posting a 61.5 grade.
For the Lions, Chargers and Seahawks, either one would be a welcomed addition considering how hard it is to acquire offensive linemen with a pulse on the trade market, but all three teams would certainly make Wylie their top priority.
