Omarion Hampton has been out of action for a while.

But the latest news for the Los Angeles Chargers seems to be pretty positive.

In a new TikTok post, Hampton posted a one-word caption. That word? Soon.

The post showed him taking on a Raiders linebacker, so it appears Hampton is ready and hoping to get back onto a field in the near term.

The Chargers have been working with a makeshift backfield for a while now.

They began the year with free agent signee Najee Harris and first-round rookie Hampton from UNC.

Then, Harris tore his Achilles.

Not long after, Hampton hurt his ankle in Week 5. He hasn't played since.

Entering Week 12, the Chargers continue to rely on Kimani Vidal. Even fellow backup Hassan Haskins has been injured.

The Chargers had such a strong start to the season, but the injury bug hasn't helped matters in recent weeks.

Hampton remains on Injured Reserve during the Chargers' Week 12 bye.

L.A. Will be back in action in Week 13 against the Raiders. Maybe Hampton was extra on top of things in that social media post, showing himself going against a Raiders linebacker. The implication is he finally might be back on the field and showing what he can do very soon.
