The Las Vegas Raiders clearly don't have much to play for the rest of the season.
At 2-12, they're one of the worst teams in the NFL.
On Tuesday, they cut ties with one player as they try to figure out who to get looks at in the final three games before they head home.
The Raiders waived Leki Fotu, which was reported on the league's official transaction report at 4 p.m. ET.

Fotu is a 6-foot-5, 27-year old defensive lineman originally from Oakland, California.
He played his college ball at Utah for the Utes before the Arizona Cardinals made him a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft at No. 114 overall.
Fotu played his first four NFL seasons for the Cardinals, starting 21 of the 56 games he played in and recording 89 tackles, including 3.5 sacks.
He joined the Jets for the 2024 season but was only active for two games, totaling three tackles.

This season, Fotu came to the Raiders, and he has played in six games, four of them starts, while recording eight tackles, including 1.0 sack.
Fotu hasn't been active on the gameday roster since Nov. 30, when the Raiders lost 31-14 to the Chargers. He had two tackles that day but has been inactive each of the past two weeks.
Now, Fotu will look for another NFL home. It's not clear that a team would pick him up just for a few more games, but maybe that chance is there. Otherwise, he'll have to wait for the offseason to keep his career going.
