The Kansas City Chiefs didn't get off to the start they would've wanted against Denver Broncos.

The Broncos got a field goal on two consecutive drives to open the game.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs went just 1-of-4 on their opening passes.

That meant a slow start for most of the passing game, including Xavier Worthy.

Is Xavier Worthy playing today?

Yes, Xavier Worthy is playing Sunday.

He did have a bit of injury concern earlier in the week, but that was a non-issue by the weekend.

Patrick Mahomes did target Worthy on the opening drive, but they didn't connect.

Mahomes' only early completion went to Rashee Rice.

Travis Kelce also was without an early catch.
