Xavier Worthy injury update: Latest news on Chiefs WR's status in Week 15 game image

The Kansas City Chiefs have an injury concern with wide receiver Xavier Worthy in the Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Worthy suffered what appeared to be a head injury in the first quarter after taking a thigh to his helmet. He was able to get off the field under his own power.

UPDATE: Worthy has cleared the concussion protocol and has returned to the game.

UPDATE: Worthy is officially in the concussion protocol. He has not been ruled out yet, though.

UPDATE: Worthy is now heading to the locker room for further evaluation. Not a good sign for his chances of returning.

Worthy is now getting checked out on the sideline. No update from the team yet, though.
