The Kansas City Chiefs are relying on Chris Oladokun to play quarterback on Sunday.
He had only appeared in one NFL game before this, and never attempted a pass.
But sometimes, things don't go your way.
That's how it was Sunday for the Chiefs, just a week after Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL.

Why is Chris Oladokun playing QB for Chiefs?
Oladokun is in because Gardner Minshew left with a knee injury.
Minshew originally was ruled questionable to return.
The mustachioed Minshew was only starting because Mahomes is out for the season.
And now with Minshew out, Oladokun is in.
The Chiefs' don't have another true QB on the active roster.
Who is the Chiefs' emergency QB?
The Chiefs do have a former QB on the roster. Travis Kelce played that position in high school.
It doesn't seem like they'd use him in that role in a lost season.
Maybe if Oladokun left, too, the Chiefs would just run wildcat with Kareem Hunt or Isiah Pacheco.
