The Kansas City Chiefs have three games left before they can officially put this 2025 disaster in the rearview mirror.
Already out of playoff contention, and with Patrick Mahomes suffering a torn ACL last week, it is just a bad way to see your season come to a close.
But Gardner Minshew gets a rare start against the Tennessee Titans, as he looks to put himself in the shop window for quarterback-needy teams ahead of the offseason.
And for CBS Sports' Pete Prisco, he thinks Minshew, in his first start, will pull out a win.
"The Chiefs have been eliminated from the playoffs and Patrick Mahomes is lost for the season," Prisco writes. "How focused will they be here? Does it matter. The Titans are bad and Gardner Minshew is more than capable of having a solid game. Chiefs win it."

Why Chiefs fans will be at odds over prediction
Yes, winning is crucial for the morale of the locker room, but given the Chiefs aren't in the playoffs, winning also hurts their draft position.
Currently holding the 12th overall pick, which is the highest in recent memory, and you could be forgiven for thinking that Chiefs Kingdom would want a higher pick heading into the draft.
So that is the balancing act the Chiefs have to figure out.
Not tanking, but more so, giving younger players a chance to showcase their skills over starters.
We know Andy Reid isn't going to rest his stars, so it will be a full-strength Kansas City in Week 16 (or as close to it as can be), as they look to end the year on a high.
Even if it does worsen their draft position.
