Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, have an incredibly popular podcast.

The two NFL stars (Jason now retired, Travis still with the Chiefs) get together weekly to break down all sorts of things, both on and off the field. The podcast, called New Heights, is named after their hometown, Cleveland Heights.

Each week, the brothers have fun, laugh, share insights and provide their fans with an inside look at various things.

It's pretty entertaining and pretty interesting.

And, well, Chris Russo doesn't like it.

The sports personality known as Mad Dog was on ESPN's First Take on Wednesday, and he pretty much lost it about the podcast.

"I could care less about his stupid podcast," Russo said. "... No serious sports fan listens to that nonsense anyway."

That's a pretty rough take from someone who has made his livelihood by talking about sports.

There is an element of new-school vs. Old-school here. This new generation of athletes is figuring out ways to get their message out first-hand, without necessarily needing the traditional sports media to do it. That can rub the older generation the wrong way.

But the podcast is pretty fun. Certainly not deserving of hate like this.
