The Kansas City Chiefs are in hot water. After losing to the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City is now 6-6 and sitting as the No. 9 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
With tiebreakers not in their favor against the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chiefs are perhaps one loss away from having an insurmountable deficit to get to the postseason. This means that Kansas City would have to run the table to all but guarantee itself a spot in the AFC playoffs. Wide receiver Rashee Rice cautions those who doubt the Chiefs, though.
Taking to X, the star wideout dared Chiefs Kingdom, and anyone in the NFL world, to count out the Chiefs.
"Go head count us out if yall want," Rice posted on X.
Go head count us out all yall want 😂✌🏾🤷🏾♂️

It's hard to say the Chiefs are down for the count when we've seen them make it to the AFC Championship Game every year since 2018 when Patrick Mahomes became the starter. They've only not made the Super Bowl once in that span, which came in 2021 when the Cincinnati Bengals came out of the AFC.
While the Chiefs have looked far from great, they looked even worse in 2024. However, they were able to squeak by in 12 one-score games, which is an NFL record. They've won just one of those games in 2025, which has had a big impact on their record.
