The Kansas City Chiefs had a major question mark at wide receiver entering Week 16.

That's because wide receiver Rashee Rice was placed into the concussion protocol after reporting symptoms to the team on Monday.

Rice did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, which was the first bad sign for his chances of playing in Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans.

On Friday, head coach Andy Reid revealed that Rice did not practice yet again, which all but confirms he won't play on Sunday in Nashville.

"Leo Chenal (shoulder), Trent McDuffie (knee), Derrick Nnadi (ill), Rashee Rice (concussion protocol), Jaylon Moore (knee), Jawaan Taylor (elbow) and Tyquan Thornton (concussion protocol) didn’t practice for the Chiefs today, per coach Reid," Matt McMullen of Chiefs.com reported.

In order for Rice to clear the concussion protocol, he has to log a full practice and then must be cleared by an independent concussion specialist.

There is obviously no longer enough time this week for him to do either of those things.

With Rice and fellow wideout Tyquan Thornton ruled out, there could be more work to be had for Xavier Worthy, Marquise Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

However, bear in mind, my fantasy football friends, that Patrick Mahomes is not playing (torn ACL) and instead it'll be Gardner Minshew under center.
