For most, one of the Kansas City Chiefs' biggest areas of need entering the offseason is finding Patrick Mahomes a stable run game.
Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco were serviceable, but neither offered any serious home run threat.
Yes, they picked up tough yards, but that's it. The Chiefs need more.
Free agent Breece Hall is an option, as is Travis Etienne.
But for ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr., in his latest mock draft, he has Kansas City going with Notre Dame stud Jeremiyah Love.
"You could see it, right? The Chiefs make their first pick in the top 10 since they took Patrick Mahomes at No. 10 in 2017 and promptly use the selection to get a game-changing running back to pair with their star quarterback? Improving the run game could open up the offense in a big way," Kiper Jr. Wrote.
"Vision. Burst. Power. Speed. Receiving skills. He has it all, and he ran for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns this past season."

Is Love a game-changer?
I'm not sure about game-changer, but he could open up things in a serious way for the Chiefs' offense.
Let's not forget, Eric Bieniemy is back as Chiefs OC, and he helped orchestrate a Chicago Bears rushing attack that was one of the better units in football.
Plus, with Love and his home-run threat and electricity, the Chiefs' passing game could open up with Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and possibly Travis Kelce.
So, Love could be "the" player that helps the Chiefs get back to that high-octane offense we were used to seeing in years prior.
Granted, there are defensive needs that have to be addressed, but in Love, Kansas City could get a talent that could transform its entire offense.
