Just a week after losing Patrick Mahomes to an ACL injury, the Kansas City Chiefs have lost another to the same injury, with Gardner Minshew reportedly suffering an ACL injury in the 26-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Minshew's injury meant third-string quarterback Chris Oladokun saw his first snaps of the year, going 11 of 16 for 111 yards, while being sacked four times.
It is a new low for this Chiefs organization, and it has been a dark few weeks; losing to the previously two-win Titans isn't great.
But what it does now is leave the Chiefs with a quarterback deficiency not only for the remaining two games, but possibly next season as well.

Chiefs facing huge QB problem
With Mahomes out and now Minshew, the Chiefs are going to have to hit the quarterback market this week to just get enough bodies to play on Christmas Day against the Denver Broncos.
Exactly who the Chiefs get is anyone's guess.
Or do they simply give Oladokun the next two games to see what they have in the young QB?
Either way, the Chiefs are in a dire situation and need to sign two quarterbacks just for their next game.
When it rains, it pours, and the Chiefs have had a horrific last week or so as their season hits a new low.
The sooner this 2025 season is put in the rearview mirror, the better.
