Travis Kelce's retirement is at the front of mind for Kansas City Chiefs fans everywhere.
But there's one hint that suggests it might stay that way for at least a little bit.
Kelce's brother, Jason, usually took a few months into the offseason to announce what he's doing.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler showed that with this post on X:

Travis is his own man but it wouldn't shock if he took some real time to figure things out.

As he writes, Travis is definitely his own man.
But this likely won't be a one-man decision, either. Kelce's family can certainly at least serve as some advice for him.
Kelce also has a wedding coming up with Taylor Swift on June 13, so it'll be a big offseason for him regardless.
Maybe he just gets his choice out of the way.
But it's hard for a football player to stop playing football. He'll have to feel very content with his choice.

Missing out on the playoffs and watching the entire postseason from home probably won't sit well with Travis, either.
It could take a while for him to work through all those emotions.
