The Kansas City Chiefs are very, very injured.
And with them being officially eliminated from the playoffs, there's no reason to push it with anyone who isn't for sure healthy.
That means they've got a lot of fresh faces set to get action on Christmas night against the Denver Broncos.
One of them? Cole Christiansen.
He may sound vaguely familiar to Chiefs fans. He's been with the organization for two Super Bowl titles already.

Christiansen has spent a lot of time on the practice squad, though.
On Thursday, he was signed to the 53-man roster so that he can be active for gameday.
Christiansen is a cool story, the rare NFL player to come out of Army.
He appeared in a regular season game last week for his first action of the 2025 season.
In his career, Christiansen has played in 23 games and made six total tackles.
