The time has finally just about arrived.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice is on the verge of his return from suspension.

The Chiefs will play without him on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions in Week 6, but that'll be it.

When will Rashee Rice be back from suspension?

Rashee Rice will return in Week 7.

The NFL handed him a six-game suspension before the season, and the Chiefs have played each of the first six weeks without a bye, so that covers Rice's time out.

He was suspended for six games after speeding to cause a chain-reaction crash that injured multiple people. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation.

Rice was a star as a rookie, catching 79 passes for 938 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023.

He only made it to Week 4 in 2024 before a season-ending injury on a fluky collision. He had 24 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns in less than four full games in 2024.

The Chiefs' Week 7 game is Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. They host the Las Vegas Raiders in an AFC West game.

Rice will have to fit back into a receiving corps that includes Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton.

It might take a week, but when Rice is fully up to speed, he'll be WR1 for Kansas City, just in time to try and boost their season.
