Chiefs might have a Patrick Mahomes injury problem

The NFL injury report can be a quirky place. Tom Brady was once listed on every injury report from 2004-2010 as probable with a shoulder injury, and no one quite knows why.

Kansas City Chiefs fans are hoping that it's that much of a non-issue for Patrick Mahomes right now.

Mahomes went on the injury report initially a week ago with a right wrist injury. He hurt it against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.

The injury diagnosis didn't prevent Mahomes from practicing in full before beating the Giants on Sunday Night Football.

And even though he was back on the report on Wednesday, Mahomes practiced in full again.

It seems like the injury isn't holding Mahomes back, but it's also still there, or the Chiefs would almost surely stop putting Mahomes' name on the report.

It's never great, of course, for a quarterback to have any kind of injury to any part of their right arm or hand.

But at least right now, it seems to be more of a tiny problem than a big issue for Mahomes.

He's got good news heading into Sunday's matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, too. Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is back to full participation at practice and should be good to go for the Week 4 clash of surprising 1-2 teams.

The Ravens aren't fully healthy, either, although the biggest thing they might need to clean up is Derrick Henry's fumbling. With Lamar Jackson and Henry at full strength, Baltimore will always be a tough team to beat.
