Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco delivers bold 2-word goal for 2025 season after injury image

Isiah Pacheco runs angry.

It's a common descriptor of the running style of the Kansas City Chiefs' running back, who seems to detonate into the ground on every step.

That'll be even more true this season. Pacheco is coming off an injury-plagued campaign, and he wants to be back in the spotlight.

Pacheco shared with reporters his mindset for the 2025 season ahead of the Chiefs' opener, which is Friday night in Brazil.

Two words: "Revenge tour."

Here's more of what Pacheco had to say:

“I’m on a revenge tour. If you know what revenge means, you know what a tour is. That’s my goal.”

Good thing - we do know what revenge means.

Pacheco is ready to take back what he believes is his.

He's slated to be Kansas City's RB1, although the backfield room is crowded with Kareem Hunt, Elijah Mitchell and Brashard Smith.

Last season, Pacheco appeared in just seven games. He had 83 runs for 310 yards and a single touchdown.

The year before, he had run for 935 yards with seven TDs and caught 44 passes, too.

Pacheco is still just 26 years old.

He fractured his fibula in Week 2 last season, preventing him from ever really getting rolling.

But now Pacheco is ready to reclaim his rightful throne in the Chiefs' backfield.

That goal begins Friday night in Sao Paulo, an unusual stage but one that Pacheco plans to make the first stop on his tour.
