The Kansas City Chiefs' 2025 season could easily be defined as a roller coaster, especially offensively, with Patrick Mahomes' unit looking good some weeks and bad others.
After a poor start, the Chiefs seemed to find their groove through weeks six to eight, winning three straight games. Since then, they have lost four of their last five games.
And offensively, costly penalties and drops have plagued the offense, and it's been star players like Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce who have let the team down.
But when offensive coordinator Matt Nagy was asked where he evaluates the offense right now, he gave a worrying answer for fans.
“It's stating the obvious, not what we've wanted the last couple weeks,” Nagy said.
“You go back to the middle of the season, we were hitting them at all cylinders, guys felt really good, and for whatever reason, the last couple weeks, it's just been the same thing that's been going on, whether it's the execution, the play call, these moments aren't easy."

Nagy's comments a huge worry
That isn't what fans want to hear at Week 15 — that "for whatever" reason, the same things keep happening on offense, particularly when your entire season is on the line Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In a true win or it's over situation for Kansas City, now is the time for the offense to dot its I's and cross its T's and put together a complete performance.
"We got to play better on offense, let's make sure, we've been saying it, but it hasn't been getting done," Nagy added. "It's our job against another really good, for us offensively, a great defense. It's a big challenge, but it's time to do it.”
So it is put up or shut up time for the Chiefs, and at 6-7, with a loss on Sunday, the playoffs would officially be off the table, so what better time to get things clicking offensively than now?
You have the quarterback, the play-caller and weapons.
Time to get it done.
