The Kansas City Chiefs decided to bring back Eric Bieniemy to re-take his place as their offensive coordinator.
That hiring led to a goodbye, though.
Matt Nagy is gone, officially bid farewell by the Chiefs' social media accounts on Friday morning:

Nagy, formerly the Bears head coach, won a pair of Super Bowls with the Chiefs.
Now, he's looking for a new gig.
Most recently, Nagy interviewed for the offensive coordinator position with the Philadelphia Eagles.
With Kansas City, Nagy could never quite have the offense put up the numbers that Bieniemy's offenses did. That can't all be attributed to Nagy, though.

Bieniemy had Tyreek Hill at the peak of his powers, for example, while the Chiefs in recent years lacked that same WR firepower.
There's also the matter of recognizing that Andy Reid does a lot of the Chiefs' offensive running, leaving the OC to play second fiddle at times.
Chiefs fans are rightfully excited about the return of Bieniemy. Nagy, a well-respected offensive mind, should land just fine on his feet somewhere new.
