The Kansas City Chiefs immediately lost a wide receiver on Friday night.

Xavier Worthy left their game in Brazil after colliding with Travis Kelce. With Rashee Rice already suspended, the Chiefs' wide receiver corps is depleted.

One former star is pitching his services.

Allen Robinson took to X to post this message:

Robinson played in the NFL in 2024 for the Detroit Lions. But in 12 games, he had just three catches.

He was once a star for the Jacksonville Jaguars and then the Chicago Bears.

In 2015, Robinson had 80 catches for 1,400 yards and 14 TDs for the Jags.

Then in 2019 and 2020, he had back-to-back 1,100-yard seasons in which he averaged 100 catches per season.

Robinson is now 32 years old, and he spent the offseason doing some football traveling, including to visit his alma mater, Penn State.

It seems unlikely that any team will bring Robinson in after his quiet 2024 season.

But maybe a veteran presence could help a shorthanded team like the Chiefs, if Worthy turns out to be missing for a while.
