When you are going up against one of, if not the best, pass rushes in football, you want your offensive line healthy, but for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, they'll walk into Week 14 in a nightmare scenario.
Facing the Houston Texans, who are stealing the souls of quarterbacks in 2025, the Chiefs are looking likely to be without both starting tackles for Week 14.
Jawaan Taylor has a tricep injury, and Josh Simmons has gone to IR after having surgery on his dislocated wrist, so that means a big reshuffle for two of the bookends along the offensive line.
But who will be where?
Will Jaylon Moore be at right tackle?
Andy Reid revealed all on Wednesday.
“Yeah, well, we'll see what happens with the injured guys first," Reid said. "But yeah, he'd [Moore] probably be at the right tackle and Wanya [Morris] at the left if that's the way it went.”

Chiefs facing nightmare scenario vs. Texans
Going up against one of the best defenses in football, and a pass rush that is a nightmare to game plan against, with two backup tackles, isn't a great spot to be.
Plus, given the state of Kansas City's season, this is the very definition of a must-win game; otherwise, the curtain can close on the 2025 season.
In the last three games, Houston hasn't allowed more than 19 points in a game, so, along with being able to get after the quarterback, the Texans are sound in the secondary, too.
It isn't the best spot to be for the Chiefs, and with their backs against the wall, Mahomes will have to trust two backup tackles in what is Kansas City's biggest game of the year.
