As if things weren't bad enough for Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. This season, he has also had to deal with injury.

Thomas is in the midst of a sophomore slump and has clearly regressed. Making matters worse, he has now missed three games in a row due to an ankle injury suffered in the Week 9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Will Thomas sit out another game in Week 13 when the Jaguars take on the Tennessee Titans? Or will this finally be the week he gets back on the field?

Here's the latest on the Jaguars wideout.

Will Brian Thomas Jr. Return in Week 13?

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, "there is a good chance" that the Jacksonville wide receiver will suit up against the Titans in Week 13.

"I am told that Thomas is getting close," Pelissero reported on Sunday. "There is a good chance that he will be good to go next week against Tennessee."

If the Jaguars expected Thomas to miss more than the three games he has been absent for, they would've placed him on injured reserve, but that didn't happen.

Another good sign for Thomas' chances of playing in Week 13 is the fact that he has been logging limited practices the last two weeks, which shows he isn't far off.

The Jaguars will release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday, so we'll know more about Thomas' status then.

A good indication Thomas is coming back will be when he logs a full practice, something he has failed to do since his injury.

While Thomas has not been good this season, there is still ample time for him to recover and finish the season strong.

Assuming he returns on Sunday, Thomas will have six more games to salvage what has been a disappointing campaign thus far.
