Jaguars' Travis Hunter makes feelings on $3.2 million rumor clear image

The Jacksonville Jaguars enter the 2025 season with new faces, including Heisman Trophy winner and two-way sensation Travis Hunter playing both wide receiver and cornerback.

Hunter's personal life has been going well also as he got married and graduated from Colorado in the past few months.

Recently, a report surfaced that Hunter had purchased a $3.2 million house. The home reportedly was previously owned by LeRoy Butler, a Hall of Fame safety born in Jacksonville who played in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers.

Hunter was asked about buying a house, and he was aggravated by the questions, per Demetrius Harvey of The Jacksonville Florida Times-Union

"I didn't buy a house yet," Hunter said. When asked about the report that he looked at 16 houses in one day, he said, "No, that's not true."

The initial link of Hunter buying the house came from the Jacksonville Daily Record, which said that he purchased the house in the Deerwood Country Club community in Jacksonville.

The report also stated that Hunter and his wife, Leanna De La Fuente, toured 16 homes in the Jacksonville area before purchasing that one.

But, Hunter strongly denied such rumors and appeared frustrated that it was even being discussed.

Perhaps the sale fell through, or Hunter changed his mind, or he never made an offer for the house in the first place. All in all, he is just focused on playing football and being the best athlete he can be.
