The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly locking up wide receiver Jakobi Meyers for the long haul.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Meyers and the Jaguars have agreed to a three-year contract extension, the financial details of which have yet to be disclosed.

"ESPN Sources:: Six weeks after trading for him, the Jaguars are finalizing a three-year contract extension for WR Jakobi Meyers that ties him to Jacksonville through the 2028 season. Meyers was scheduled to be a free agent after this season but not anymore," Schefter reported.

Schefter adds that the deal is worth $60 million in total, with $40 million guaranteed. The $20 million per year average ranks 25th among wide receivers, which places Meyers behind Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans.

That amounts to a significant raise for Meyers, who was making $11 million per year on his previous deal with the Raiders.

The extension for Meyers comes just a month-plus after the Jaguars acquired him at the trade deadline from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Meyers has wasted no time making an impact, reeling in 27 catches for 355 yards and three touchdowns in six games. Jacksonville is 5-1 in that span.

Meyers entered the 2025 campaign disgruntled after failing to reach an agreement with the Raiders on an extension. Now, Meyers gets the deal he was looking for.
