The Indianapolis Colts are duking it out with the Arizona Cardinals, leading 14-10 at the time of writing. And while the Colts have been one of the pleasant surprises of the season thus far, they've done so largely without their 2024 second-round pick.
A.D. Mitchell has been largely unused by the Colts since they drafted him out of Texas last April. After a blunder that saw him fumble the ball before scoring against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4, the Colts played him only in garbage time in Week 5. Now, they have made him a healthy inactive against the Cardinals.
This signals that the Colts are largely done with the former Longhorn, and could be open to a trade. There are plenty of teams that could use a young receiver with the potential Mitchell has, so keep his name in mind ahead of the trade deadline.
