The Indianapolis Colts would've loved to be starting Anthony Richardson at QB right now.
The No. 4 overall pick in 2023 couldn't even win the starting quarterback job this season over Daniel Jones, though. And then Richardson got injured.
That's what sets up the Week 15 struggle for the Colts.
Daniel Jones is out for the season with a torn Achilles.
Riley Leonard is hurting, too.

The best option may turn out to be 44-year old Philip Rivers, who just arrived this week.
It's got fans wondering if Anthony Richardson was blackballed.
Not the case, though.
How did Anthony Richardson get injured?
Richardson got injured during a pregame workout when he was using a stretching band to warm up his arm.
The band apparently got loose and hit Richardson across the face.
He sustained an orbital fracture and vision impairment.

It's not clear how long until Richardson can play. He hasn't been designated for a return from IR yet.
Richardson's season may be over, which will make his chances of starting in 2026 even less certain than they would've been otherwise.
